Our Story

My partner, Anthea, and I live in the small rural town of Texas, located on the Queensland–New South Wales border and proudly made famous by Lee Kernaghan’s song Texas QLD 4385. Before relocating to Texas, I lived and worked in Brisbane as a town planner, preparing development applications for a wide range of urban projects, including residential developments and distilleries. While I valued the experience and complexity of urban planning, I always knew that rural Australia was where I felt most at home.

 

As Director of Darling Downs Town Planning, I bring over eight years of professional experience across rural, remote, and urban planning environments throughout Queensland. I have worked on a diverse range of development projects and have a strong understanding of both regional planning challenges and complex urban planning frameworks. I am committed to providing clear, practical advice and delivering tailored planning solutions that help clients confidently achieve their development goals.
